RADIO TOUR- DAY 27 AND 28- LITTLE CURRENT, OWEN SOUND AND HOME!

Yesterday was the second last day of the tour and we dropped into CFRM The Island in Little Current and hung out with KT for the lunch hour! we played a few tunes, answered some questions and bonded over our Keith Urban Obsessions! It was a great visit, very glad we dropped by!

Today was the LAST DAY! We stopped in Owen Sound last night where the last date was, and wouldn’t ya know it, guess who’s wonderful boyfriend was there waiting to see her a day early! I was so excited… Justin Met me in Owen sound last night and made my homecoming that much sweeter, it was pretty great. Also we got to hang out at my girlfriend Brittney’s and chat with her, her mom and the rest of the fam who my family has been close with since childhood, was a pretty nice chance to let loose a little bit.

This morning we headed to Country93 and hung out with Bob Bannister, and had a quick visit with Donna Henry. We did a great interview and two tunes with Bob, which went really well After that it was OVER! Home time for me! We made the long drive home and just arrived safe and sound An Excellent tour all around!

RADIO TOUR DAYS 23-27- REGINA + DRIVING

On thursday November 3rd, we swung by CKRM to drop off a package for Grant Biebrick, afterwards we stopped off at CHBD and had a GREAT meeting with Jonathan Best! He was positive and funny, we had a great little chat, but then it was back to hitting the road and DRIVING, we’ve been driving back towards home the last three days and we’re almost there now, getting excited!

Today we had two interviews and both went super great. The first one was with Kurtis Bakanac From CKSW 570 am, we prerecorded an interview that aired later in the day.. we played a tune and chatted a little bit about the trip and even took some pics, Kurtis was awesome and we had a lot of laughs

After that we headed to Moosejaw to Meet Craig Hemingway at CILG country 100.7, and do an interview with Jim Strom, We had a great interview, gave away some CD’s to some lucky folks and played a tune as well! Check out some pictures

Today was another great day! First we got up early and headed to a cool store in Nanton that was having a western wear sale, after that we headed Lethbridge to CHAT where I had a chat (haha pun!) with Michael Doll, which was great we talked about Karaoke Star and Terri Clark and we even played two live songs on air which was pretty fun! RADIO TOUR- DAY 20- HIGH RIVER AB

Today was a pretty great day we had two interviews this morning and a meeting this afternoon.

First we went and met up with Jodey Seeley at Sun Country which was great, she did a fantastic interview and asked lots of great questions, she played my song (twice!) and let us play two songs too, which was really great. In between songs we had a hoot laughing about shooting living in our love and skype writing with Willie Mack.

After Sun Country we headed over to an interview with Charlie Brown on CHRB AM1140 which was also really well done, he asked some great questions and we listened to ‘Living in our love’, then we played Driving without brakes which went really smooth All in all it was a pretty great morning. In the afternoon I had a meeting with Scott Phillips at CKRY which went really well, we talked about the business, recording the record and even my amazing parents…was a pretty cool chat which I really enjoyed, fingers crossed with getting some airplay

RADIO TOUR- DAY 18+19- CALGARY

We stayed in Calgary for the weekend which was pretty cool! Friday night we went out to check out the band ‘Cuff the Duke’ Played a little bit of pool with Steve the Shark, then Kyle came out and we hung out til the wee hours of the morning Saturday steve went and spent some time with his family in Calgary and my mom and I did a bit of shopping, then Saturday night Kyle picked me up and we headed to a halloween party which was a little too out of control for our tastes so we went back to Kyle’s and watched beetlejuice instead, definitely the right choice. Tonight we’re just lounging going to bed really early because I have to be up at 4am tomorrow to get ready to host the morning show in High River

RADIO TOUR- DAY 16 + 17- EDMONTON & CALGARY

YESTERDAY WAS SO COOL! We headed to the West Edmonton Mall, pretty much the biggest mall ever for a quick meeting with Larry Donohue at CFCW… after our meeting we headed in to the depths of the mall! They had a skating rink, a water park with a giant indoor wave pool and waterslides, it even had a huge amusement park in it with roller coasters! After having lunch Steve and I decided to go on a roller coaster (Bad idea) that spun you around like crazy while going up and down, pretty intense!! There was a giant indoor pool with a model of the Santa Maria in it, and even performing Seals! Way Cool

After the mall we had several packages to drop off, which we did on our way to CALGARY! My Best Friend Kyle moved to Calgary just over a year ago so it was a a great opportunity for me to visit! Kyle took me around to his new stompin grounds, and showed me some of the beautiful Sights, then we watched Blind Side which was a super good movie!

Today My mom, Steve and I had lunch then we practiced our acoustic set for most of the afternoon. Tonight we’re going to check out a live band ‘Cuff The Duke’ who’s sound guy Jacob Hamayda is friends with Steve, gonna be way cool

Today we had a quick meeting with Travis Kaye from Lloyd Fm who was positive about what was going on and said he would do his best to get me tune on a canadian featured segment. Tonight Steve and I Went to the casino where I won $90, Yeehaw!! lol

Tomorrow we’re headed to the West Edmonton Mall!

Today was a great day! we pre-recorded an interview to air at a later date at CJWW 600am with Jay Richards. The interview went really well and he asked me a lot of great questions. we touched on topics like self image, songwriting, and skype. I’ll post the interview after it airs and I’ll keep you all posted to when you can tune in to listen

After CJWW We dropped off packages for Pat Dubois at 92.9 The Bull, and Doug Harrison at CJNB North Battleford. All in all it was a good day!!

We spent the weekend in Dauphin and boy was it ever a blast! I dragged my mom to see paranormal activity 3 (which scared the bejebus out of both of us!) I can’t wait to go back and watch the first two again now to understand the whole story!!

Today We had two interviews:

The first one was with Bruce Leperre at CKDM in Dauphin, we had a really great time (and a great breakfast beforehand) hanging out with Bruce and Cody from the station. We caught part of the interview on tape, check it out below

After we had an interview at CKDM We headed to Yorkton Saskatchewan! There we met up with Danny Ismond, who awesomely added my tune into rotation at the station and was having us in for an interview! We got totally confused by the time change and ended up being a bit early so that meant we got to be interviewed by Tonya Cherry which was really cool. She had some great questions and they played my tune, check it out below
